After my crit on the J&R logo a few complimented me on the concept of interlocking letterforms and prompted me to have a look at these.
The classic V&A logo is beautiful how the ampersand links to the capital A
Glassjaw- a band, its a similar design to one of my intial ideas in Helvetica.
